Portugal: new cutting equipment for a stone workshop

Fabricaciones AOD has completed an installation for Magraser, Mármoles y Granitos de Portugal. Focus Piedra describes a 3,200 × 2,000 × 900 mm automatically rotating table and a five-axis Columbus FULL EQUIP CNC bridge saw.

The table can be positioned at several angles, while its rubber surface is designed for handling and cutting stone materials. The stated aim is to increase workshop flexibility and match equipment to daily production needs.

Editorial context

The source reports one commercial installation. It provides no comparative data on output, accuracy or investment return; those questions require trials using the workshop’s actual materials, formats and cycles.
