ItalySalvatori Verde Antico selected for the 2026 Archiproducts trophy
On 27 October, the Archiproducts Design Awards announced Salvatori’s Verde Antico marble for the trophy awarded to winning designers in the 2026 edition. Michael Anastassiades designed the trophy.
The choice brings attention to the relationship between a repeatable design and stone’s natural variation. For professionals selecting blocks and slabs, this is a familiar issue: geometry can be specified, while veining and colour distribution require careful material selection. This is an editorial observation about design value. It should not be interpreted as evidence of higher demand, increased prices or a wider commercial trend for the particular marble selected for the award.
