Emmedue introduces CNC dedicated to worktop cut-outs
Emmedue has presented Sinkcell, a three-axis CNC designed for sink, hob and accessory cut-outs, as well as profiling and polishing internal edges. It imports DXF geometry and sequences drilling, milling, profiling and finishing.
The reported configuration includes a 13 kW electrospindle, ISO 40 taper and a 22-position automatic tool store expandable to 28. The manufacturer positions it as a specialist machine, not a replacement for a larger universal machining centre.
Editorial context
Separating repetitive operations may free capacity on the main machine, but benefits depend on order mix, materials and setup time. The story presents a product solution; output and finish quality need measurement in the workshop’s actual cycle.
