Greek Marble Ouzeri turns marble into a meeting place
Enterprise Greece and the Greek Marble Association presented Greek Marble Ouzeri at Marmomac, an installation designed by TremeEats as a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional Greek gathering place. Several producers contributed materials and support.
The initiative connects national identity, hospitality and everyday use of stone, moving beyond sample display to an environment used by visitors. The account comes from the organisers and does not measure commercial results.
Editorial context
Showing how a material lives in space can promote a stone origin more effectively than a list of names. The project demonstrates a narrative method; it neither certifies performance nor makes the different Greek stones involved equivalent.
