IranWest Azerbaijan: 50 ornamental-stone quarries need investment
In an ILNA interview dated 25 October, provincial director Sakhavat Kheirkhah identifies 197 ornamental-stone quarries in West Azerbaijan: 147 active and 50 needing investors.
Licences cover 29 new processing projects with proposed annual capacity of 600,000 tonnes. That capacity depends on implementation; it is not production already available.
